Our vision for TransEco Energy, NC-CNG, and Altech-Eco is a simple one to describe, and a challenging one to execute. We have one direction and that is to assume the leadership position in the alternative fuels industry for providing EPA and CARB approved CNG conversion systems and to construct and manage CNG fueling infrastructure to the North American market.
TransEco Energy has been in business since 2006 and opened its first conversion and certifications division in Asheville, NC in 2006. Altech-Eco Corp is a wholly owned subsidiary of TransEco Energy Corp. Altech-Eco is responsible for obtaing certificates of conformity from the EPA and research and development of alternative fuel conversion systems.
The conversion of vehicles from petroleum to CNG (compressed natural gas) has been available in the United States in a very limited technological sense for years, but technologically proficient, governmentally certified and especially economically advantageous uses for CNG as a meaningful national alternative fuel for vehicles is in its infancy. This multi year transition of an entire nation's fuel source will eventually become a hundred billion dollar plus industry, which has only just begun its growth phase. Unlike Europe, Asia and Latin America, with penetrations of as much as 25% or more of vehicles utilizing CNG as a vehicle fuel, less than 5% of vehicles on the road today in the US operate on CNG.
With more than 8 million natural gas vehicles (NGV's) worldwide, and the US about to commence what will be a decades long, multi hundred billion dollar shift to natural gas as a transport fuel, TransEco, and its subsidiary companies Altech-Eco and NC-CNG are proud to be a part of the forefront of this industry growth.

On April 10, 2006 TransEco Energy incorporated with the state of North Carolina a subsidiary named NC-CNG Corp.. Founded as a privately owned company and wholly owned by TransEco Energy Corp.. Located at 101 Fair Oaks Road, Arden, NC 28704. NC-CNG specializes in the development and strategically planning of cng station construction and management for private and/or public use. We currently have one cng fast fill fueling station already completed and operational that is open to the public, which we had our grand opening on July 20, 2007.
On August 8, 2006 TransEco Energy incorporated with the state of North Carolina a subsidiary named Altech-Eco Corp. Founded as a privately owned company and wholly owned by TransEco Energy Corp. Located at 101 Fair Oaks Road, Arden, NC 28704. Altech-Eco specializes in research, development and deployment of alternative fuel technologies for vehicular use. Altech-Eco is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency as Small Volume Manufacturer and our SVM code is AEC. Altech-Eco develops cng technologies that are state of the art with integrated fuel systems that allow for the operation of your vehicles safely and properly.
